Adult Ministry

FBC Wagener Adult Ministry meets regularly to seek God, to provide encouragement and fellowship and to provide for the needs in our community.   It is our heart's desire to prepare, challenge and inspire each other and our community to be more like Christ. 

The Adult Ministry is a very active ministry.  Adults participate and serve in almost every branch of church function from nursery duty to fundraisers, from building maintenance to community outreach and mission trips.  Whether you are new in our community or have been here awhile, if you're looking for a church home that feels like family, we invite you to join us.  Come join us for a Wednesday night supper and Bible study or to be lifted up in prayer at our prayer service.  If you want to visit for supper, call Pat at the church office (803.564.5661) and ask her to "put another shrimp on the barbie" so we'll have a hot meal ready for you.

WMU Pure Water Relief Update:

Since 1997 WMU® has been meeting one of the most basic human needs of missionaries through Pure Water, Pure LoveSM. The goal of this ministry is to provide missionaries and the people they serve with clean drinking water, free from disease-causing microorganisms, at no cost to them.

Over the last several years WFBC WMU has been collecting money and purchasing water filtration devices for this ministry. Each filtration device cost 250.00.

On November 16th, our WMU group submitted funds for another device making a grand total of 9 devices so far.
